Girl in the Courtyard

Moving into her home in Hilton Head South Carolina, the artist established in her courtyard this bronze statue of a nude girl, a favorite piece in her personal art collection. Set at the home’s entrance overlooking the pool of a waterfall, Lovely was moved to capture both the image and the feeling of “coming home.” Molded by prolific sculptor Antoinette Schultze, the life-sized figure installed in the open air courtyard stands surrounded by red Camellias and pink Azaleas in full spring bloom, two primary signature colors evident throughout Lovely’s collection of work.

Dimensions: 10H x 10W  |  Medium: Oil on Linen
