With the elements the artist keeps in each piece of a vastly populated collection, Lovely still manages to make the same recipe new with altered perspectives like perching the model on a disappearing curve of the sand and and shifting from placid waters to temperamental ocean hues ranging from calm cool to near emerald greens on the painting’s left edge.
